Job Description

WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT SUPERINTENDENT:

Attention Superintendents! We’re hiring!

Mannik & Smith Group is a premier multi-disciplined engineering / environmental consulting firm that works with an exclusive collection of some of the best and fastest growing private entities, municipalities and government agencies in the nation specializing in Civil, Geo/Environmental, Construction, and Transportation.

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent for an opening in the Waste Water Treatment industry for our office in Dundee, MI.

Requirements
- Michigan Class B Waste Water Operator’s License
- Proficient in math and ability to use a computer.
- Knowledge in primary treatment, secondary treatment, sludge handling/disposal, laboratory analysis and all requirements contained therein.
- Practical experience in operation and maintenance.
- Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities Include:
- Operational records of the facility and prepares reports to the MDEQ and USEPA.
- Operation and maintenance of Village Wastewater Treatment Plant to ensure compliance with discharge parameters and meet federal and state mandated requirements.
- Assistances with coordinating, and leading daily operations.

Additional Tasks / Skills:
- Capable of preparing DMR monthly reports and posting on MI Waters website. . Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders.
- Candidate will be required to pass a medical physical.
- The ability to respond timely to emergency callouts including nights and weekends is required, along with occasional weekend rotational work.
