Job Description

DRILLER

MSG Columbus is growing and looking for a self-motivated individual for a Driller position for our multi-discipline and highly interactive team. With offices located throughout OH, MI, WV and AL, employees work collaboratively across all disciplines to provide services to our clients.

Candidate must have experience operating a drill rig. Positions for entry level candidates are available, but must start as an assistant.

Main responsibility includes:

- Operating a track-mounted Geoprobe Drill Rig
- Other equipment such as a backhoe, skid steer, excavator may be operated when needed.
- Understanding of geotechnical and environmental drilling methods preferred.
- Drive a truck/trailer combination, and travel to regional locations (OH, MI, PA, etc.), up to 2-5 days at a time. Lodging and per diem is provided.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions

Requirements:
- Availability and Readiness to travel to different job sites.
- Ability to life at least 75 lbs.,
- Candidate must have a valid driver’s license.
- CDL Class A required with tanker endorsement preferred. (If the candidate doesn't have a Class A, candidate must be open to obtaining one.)
