Job Description

Senior Natural Resources Scientist

Mannik & Smith Group is a premier multi-disciplined engineering / environmental consulting firm that works with an exclusive collection of some of the best and fastest growing private entities, municipalities and government agencies in the nation specializing in Civil, Geo/Environmental, Construction, and Transportation.

MSG is looking for an experienced Natural Resources Scientist with a solid understanding of:
- pursuing and performing surface water delineations,
- ecological surveys,
- mitigation monitoring, and
- Clean Water Act permitting,
- ecological restoration, and
- green infrastructure projects.

Experience with and pre-qualifications:
- performing NEPA evaluations for ODOT projects is strongly preferred.
- Must be a skilled communicator.
- experienced with preparing proposals and building business opportunities.
- A Bachelor's degree in Biology or Engineering or a related field and a minimum of
five years of experience is required.
- More experienced professionals are encouraged to apply, particularly those with
restoration design experience.

Additional Information
- Project assignments will be primarily in Ohio and Michigan with additional out of state assignments possible.
- Candidates will be assigned to our Geoenvironmental Group, and may be asked to assist with a variety of Geoenvironmental projects as needed.

Compensation will be commensurate with one's capability, initiative, and level of experience.
