Job Description

Immediate opening for only the BEST Upscale Dining Servers!
Fine casual dining is all about quality service and high expectations. We are looking for experienced and professional upscale dining servers who want solid stations and opportunity to make some of the best money anywhere. Don't settle for a small section or floor plans that are stacked with servers. Our server sections are large and you work with only the best Food Runners and Bussers to assist you. This is your opportunity to work in one of the oldest restaurants in Texas and be a part of our 100+ years of exemplary service to both the guests and loyal locals of Galveston Island!
Responsibilities:
• Acknowledge guests
• Service food and drink orders
• Demonstrate knowledge of our menu items and specials, answer guests questions
• Constantly pre-bus tables
• Cleaning and side work
Job Requirements:
• High School graduate or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older
• 2 years of experience in fine dining preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
• Courteous, friendly, respectful and professional demeanor
• Well-groomed and representative of an upscale atmosphere
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
• Knowledge of wine, cocktails and craft beer a plus
• TABC certification
• Texas Food Handler certification
